THE team at EnviroAbility are pleased to present PGL’s newly refurnished dragon boat, which will be entered in future Ross-on-Wye Regatta events.

Bob Davies, worked at PGL for 36 years, but he now volunteers with EnviroAbility two days every week. Bob was asked by PGL to refurbish their old boat, which had previously been entered into the dragon boat races at the Ross Regatta.

Bob thought that the best course of action would to be to bring in EnviroAbility, to create a project for the Ross-on-Wye based charity. The project created a couple of jobs for local men, who Bob worked with. After a few weeks of hard work, the finished dragon boat was ready.

Bob has been involved with EnviroAbility for approximately four years, he first got involved with the organisation at a charity selection at Tudorville and District Community Centre. To find out more about EnviroAbility and their many projects, please visit: www.enviroability.org
