There were some people that did not want to have The centre for the disabled and we helped them to establish a craft workshop that undertakes arts projects for local community groups.
With the support of inventive staff this projects performs valuable work for the local community, such as building a full set of road-side signs for the Ross carnival and making all of the props and scenery for local theatre productions such as: Oh, what a lovely war at the Savoy Theatre in Monmouth.
This project now attracts volunteers that do not fit the original profile and have changed the norm within the peer group.
